La Mitología Azteca hace referencia al conjunto de creencias y mitos propios de la civilización azteca, un pueblo que consiguió dar origen a un gran imperio en la ciudad de Tenochtitlan y que por ser descendiente de los Mexicas en ocasiones es también llamado así. El carácter nómada y asimismo muy religioso de esta sociedad, les exigía por así decirlo grandes sacrificios que generalmente eran dirigidos hacia el sol, pues era su dios dominante. Puesto que la cultura azteca se ubica en la región mesoamericana, esto le ha servido para ser catalogada como la más creyente y fervorosa de este territorio.
